With its richly detailed modelling and its noble presence it becomes a stylish highlight in any living or business ambience.

The motif
A face in profile emerges from an open, slanted page of a book, nose, lips and closed eyelid standing out sharply from the plane. The motif plays with the idea that a text has a counterpart and is among the most popular inventions of modern bronze sculpture.

Craftsmanship and casting
The surface of the page is textured with fine grinding marks while the face is polished smooth, so that gold and matt brown work against each other in the light. The wedge-shaped plinth belongs to the cast and holds the page at its angle. The sculpture is cast in solid bronze using the lost wax process, the technique that has been in use since antiquity. Every piece is chased and patinated individually by hand, and only then does the final colour appear.

Placement and effect
On a bookshelf, a conference table or a console in a reception area the sculpture sets a calm, narrative accent. It needs space in front, because the profile only reads from a step away.

Material and care
Bronze does not age and is practically maintenance free, a dry soft cloth is all it takes. Because every piece is cast and patinated by hand, no two are identical: slight variations in tone and surface are part of the process and are not a defect.

Casa Padrino - Where artistic bronze sculptures become timeless decorative objects that bring elegance and individuality into every room.

Material: Bronze

Width: 40 cm

Depth: 74 cm

Height: 72 cm

Weight: 32 kg

Colour: bronze / gold / brown

Very finely crafted

Handmade

From the Luxury Bronze Sculptures collection by Casa Padrino!

You are buying a product of the Casa Padrino brand.
Casa Padrino is a renowned European producer and distributor of baroque furniture and luxury decorative items and
a registered trademark at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1020/1609/0486/files/Casa-Padrino-Luxus-Bronze-Skulptur-Gesicht-im-Buch-Bronze---Gold---Braun-40-x-74-x-H--72-cm-Moderne-Bronzefigur-Grosse-Deko-Figur-134893.jpg?v=1790378260
https://www.barockgrosshandel.de/en/products/casa-padrino-luxus-bronze-skulptur-gesicht-im-buch-bronze-gold-braun-40-x-74-x-h-72-cm-moderne-bronzefigur-grosse-deko-figur-134893
