Casa Padrino Decorative Sailing Ship "Pamir" – A Handcrafted Remembrance of a Maritime Legend

The artfully crafted model ship "Pamir" by Casa Padrino is a tribute to one of the most important sailing ships in German maritime history. Crafted from fine wood and meticulously handcrafted, this decorative object combines artisanal precision with maritime elegance. With its fine workmanship, the ship enriches stylish living spaces, sophisticated offices, and prestigious hotel ambiances with a decorative touch and historical depth.

The Historic "Pamir" – A Ship with a Rich History

The original "Pamir", built in 1905 by Blohm & Voss in Hamburg, was a proud four-masted barque in the famous "Flying P-Liner" fleet of the Laeisz shipping company. As a fast cargo ship, she circumnavigated Cape Horn numerous times and was later used as a sail training ship. Her tragic end came in 1957 when she sank in an Atlantic hurricane – a disaster in which 80 of the 86 crew members lost their lives. The sinking of the "Pamir" is still considered one of the most serious disasters in German civilian shipping.

A decorative object with soul

The model of the "Pamir" not only brings maritime flair to your rooms, but also tells of the era of the great windjammers – of courage, wanderlust, and nautical grandeur. It is more than an accessory: It is a silent monument to maritime history, artfully interpreted for stylish interior design.
