The exclusive Luxury Bowl by Casa Padrino presents the Reef model: a large, organically shaped bowl made of untreated terracotta. At about 40 x 40 cm, around 30 cm high and a full 15.3 kg, Reef is a massive object with presence that confidently fills its place on floor, console or large table.

Material and workmanship
Terracotta is fired clay whose natural coloured, open pored surface is left uncoated here. As a natural material, terracotta makes every piece one of a kind: shade and surface vary, and the dimensions also differ slightly per piece, roughly 35 to 40 cm in width and depth and 25 to 30 cm in height. It is exactly this irregularity that gives the bowl its artisanal character.

Use
Reef works as a sculpture even when empty: on the floor next to fireplace or shelf, on a sturdy console or as the centrepiece of a large table. Dried branches, olive or eucalyptus greenery underline the Mediterranean tone. The warm natural tone harmonises with linen, light wood and white walls.

Care and notes
A soft, dry cloth or gentle dusting is all it takes for cleaning; avoid harsh cleaners. The bowl is intended for dry indoor rooms, as uncoated terracotta can absorb moisture. At a good 15 kg, always lift it from below with both hands when moving it and make sure it rests on a load-bearing, level surface.
