This wall mirror by Casa Padrino is modelled on an old mullioned window. Above a grid of 25 individually framed mirror panes spans a round arch in which the mullions fan out, just as the fanlights of old town houses show.
The frame is made from solid mango wood and oiled in its natural state. Grain and colour gradient stay visible, so every piece turns out a little different.
The many small panes break the reflection into individual images. That reads more lively than one large surface and makes even windowless rooms look daylit: hallway, stairwell, dining room.
