The motif
The back consists of two curved arches, each with an ornamental rosette at the crown and a fan of bars into which three fleurs-de-lis are set. The armrests roll outwards, the seat is woven from flat bands.

Craftsmanship and finish
The fleur-de-lis tips and the ornamental rosettes are applied individually, the seat bands woven in by hand. The frame is bent by hand from round iron, welded and dressed, the ornaments applied one by one. Finally the piece is primed and lacquered in several layers, the last layer taken back slightly at the edges so that the surface looks used.

Placement and effect
At 111.5 cm wide and barely 11 kg the bench is light enough to move and wide enough for two. It suits a house wall, a spot under a window or the edge of a terrace.

Material and care
The furniture is made for outdoors and tolerates sun and rain. Over the winter it should be stored dry or covered, which noticeably extends the life of the lacquer. Small scratches can be touched up with a lacquer pen, stubborn dirt comes off with water and a soft brush.
