Casa Padrino Art Nouveau Garden Bench Weathered Green - Hand Bent Iron with Fleur-de-Lis Tips

The exclusive Art Nouveau Garden Bench Weathered Green 103.5 x 61 x H. 85.5 cm by Casa Padrino is an extraordinary work of art that unites expressive form, fine craftsmanship and luxurious design. With its richly detailed modelling and its noble presence it becomes a stylish highlight in any living or business ambience.

The motif
A two-seater bench with a high, slightly reclined back: the bars end in fleur-de-lis tips at the top, the armrests in large volutes. The seat is woven from flat bands, the frame stands on curved runners with a continuous cross bar.

Craftsmanship and finish
The fleur-de-lis tips and the ornamental rosettes are applied individually, the seat bands woven in by hand. The frame is bent by hand from round iron, welded and dressed, the ornaments applied one by one. Finally the piece is primed and lacquered in several layers, the last layer taken back slightly at the edges so that the surface looks used.

Placement and effect
At 103.5 cm wide the bench fits a balcony, a house wall or the end of a path. It stands securely on uneven ground because the runners spread the load, and two people can carry it.

Material and care
The furniture is made for outdoors and tolerates sun and rain. Over the winter it should be stored dry or covered, which noticeably extends the life of the lacquer. Small scratches can be touched up with a lacquer pen, stubborn dirt comes off with water and a soft brush.
