Casa Padrino Baroque Bed Headboard Baroc – The Silhouette Makes the Style

Baroque does not have to be gilded. This Casa Padrino baroque bed headboard proves it: it bears no carving, no ornament, no colour but a calm grey. What makes it baroque is the contour alone – a curved top edge with two shouldered steps, familiar from historic bedheads.

This silhouette is the entire design. It rises at the sides, steps back, lifts in the middle and closes in a shallow arc. Because the surface beneath stays smooth, the shape reads as clear rather than playful, and a room becomes stylish without becoming historical.

Along the whole contour runs a decorative nail trim. It follows every curve, traces the shape with a fine row of dots and is the only detail that shines from close up.

The grey cover fabric has a slightly mottled character reminiscent of wool felt. This tone takes all heaviness out of the baroque form: what would look theatrical in burgundy or gold stays restrained and contemporary in grey.

The construction: solid wood body, dimensionally stable polyester foam, carefully executed edges along the curves. A curved shape in particular demands clean work, because every irregularity becomes visible on the silhouette at once.
