A face with a pointed chin looks forward while the hood streams horizontally backwards in one long sweep. Such car mascots were mounted on bonnets in the twenties and are among the most sought-after small bronzes of Art Deco today.

The figure is cast in solid bronze using the lost-wax process, each piece chased and patinated individually by hand. The golden brown patina is polished smooth across the whole hood so the folds pass the light along in long bands. It stands on a round base of black and gold Portoro marble.
