A motif from the Art Deco of the 1920s
A dancer lifts one knee and lays her arm above her head while the dress follows the turn with a sweep. The two-tone finish, dark gown against light skin, echoes the chryselephantine figures of the 1920s in which bronze and ivory were combined.

Fine craftsmanship and solid bronze
The figure is cast in solid bronze using the lost-wax process, each piece chased and patinated individually by hand. The gown is finished in deep dark brown, face, arms and legs are cold painted in a light ivory tone, the headband in gold. It rests on a round base of light onyx.

Placement and effect
At 41,3 cm tall and 3,8 kg the sculpture has real weight and needs no company. In a display cabinet, on a console, on a secretary desk or a bookshelf the fine painting shows at its best.
