A motif from the Art Deco of the 1920s
A dancer stands on one foot, a sphere in one hand and the other arm stretched far back, with a feather ornament in her hair. The figure belongs to the dance motifs with which the sculptors of the twenties translated the stages of Paris into bronze.

Fine craftsmanship and solid bronze
The figure is cast in solid bronze using the lost-wax process, each piece chased and patinated individually by hand. The golden brown patina is polished lighter on arms and legs, and the headband and the sphere are reworked individually. It rests on a round, tapering base of black and gold marble.

Placement and effect
At 39,1 cm tall and 3,08 kg the sculpture has real weight and needs no company. A chest of drawers, a console, a bookshelf or a display cabinet suits it, ideally together with a second dancing figure.
