Casa Padrino Luxury Art Deco Bronze Sculpture Dancer with Ball - A Diagonal Standing on One Foot
The impressive Luxury Art Deco Bronze Sculpture Dancer with Ball by Casa Padrino stands for everything luxury decoration is about: precious material, a sure hand and a presence you feel immediately. A piece of lasting value for any stylish ambience.
A motif from the Art Deco of the 1920s
A dancer balances on one foot, stretches her arms horizontally and holds a ball in one hand while the other leg is bent. The ball was a popular prop in the twenties because it gives the moving figure a point of rest.
Fine craftsmanship and solid bronze
The figure is cast in solid bronze using the lost-wax process, each piece chased and patinated individually by hand. The golden brown patina is evenly polished across the whole body, and the patterned bathing cap is finely chased. It rests on a round base of black and gold Portoro marble.
Placement and effect
At 34 cm tall and 2,56 kg the sculpture has real weight and needs no company. On a side table, a chest of drawers, a shelf or a desk it needs little space and still makes an impression.
Material and care
Bronze and marble do not age and are maintenance-free, a dry cloth is enough. Because every piece is patinated by hand, no two are alike.
