A young man kneels before a woman and lays his hands on her hip, she tilts her head to one side and lets him: "Everlasting Love", one of the most beautiful pair figures of Art Deco, born from the costume fashion of the 1920s with its caps, ruffled collars and pleated skirts.

Cold painted bronze is the most elaborate technique of that era: the colour is applied by hand after casting, layer upon layer. Here golden yellow, wine red and silver grey glow side by side, with fine gold ornaments on jacket and skirt, while faces and hands are kept in an ivory tone.

The group stands on a light stepped marble base and measures 39.5 cm in height. On a console, a secretary desk, a bookshelf or in a display cabinet it shows at its best, because it wants to be read from close up.
