A motif from the Art Deco of the 1920s
A female figure bends forward, holds a round shield in one hand and stretches a long fanfare steeply upwards with the other. The trumpet runs through the whole figure as a narrow diagonal and turns a quiet bronze into a moving image.

Fine craftsmanship and solid bronze
The figure is cast in solid bronze using the lost-wax process, each piece chased and patinated individually by hand. The golden brown patina is polished smooth on the body, and the shield carries a chased ornamental rim with a star at its centre. It rests on a stepped base of black marble.

Placement and effect
At 43,1 cm tall and 1,58 kg the sculpture has real weight and needs no company. Because the fanfare reaches far upwards it needs height: a console, a sideboard or a shelf with nothing above it.

Material and care
Bronze and marble do not age and are maintenance-free, a dry cloth is enough. Because every piece is patinated by hand, no two are alike.
