Casa Padrino Luxury Bed Headboard Chb – A Grid of Few Large Fields

Between the smooth surface and dense button tufting lies a middle path few designs take. This Casa Padrino luxury bed headboard takes it: the inner field is quilted into a few large rectangles, three rows high, clearly set and without a single button.

The effect is an architectural grid. It recalls fitted wall panels or the coffering of a door, yet stays soft because the fields swell slightly between the seams. The headboard therefore reads as built rather than upholstered.

Around the grid runs a smooth outer border. This unquilted zone is decisive: it keeps the pattern away from the edges and lets it rest on the wall instead of breaking off at the borders.

The light grey is restrained enough not to let the grid become loud. In direct light the fields are clearly visible; under an overcast sky they almost disappear – a headboard with two faces over the course of a day.

Construction as throughout the series: solid wood body with dimensionally stable polyester foam. For hotel rooms and bedrooms with modern furnishing this model is the obvious choice, because the grid suits straight-lined furniture.

Delivery includes the headboard only, without a bed. On request we produce it in other colours, sizes and fabric variants; in a dark tone the calm grid becomes a distinctly more graphic piece.
