This chandelier by Casa Padrino is the elongated variant of the Chelsea form. The same curved crystal rods as on the small model, but drawn out considerably further: at only 31 cm in diameter it measures 61 cm in height.

That changes the character. Where the wide version reads as a basket, here a slender column of glass emerges. The loops fall deep and converge far below, leading the eye along the length rather than across the width.

This makes the lamp useful where height is available but space is tight: in a stairwell void, in a window recess, beside a tall cabinet or in a row above a narrow bar. Two or three pieces at different heights form a group that does not obscure itself.

The hollow-ground rods carry the light along their entire curve and therefore glow as continuous lines. Given the considerable length of this version, the result is a notably calm, vertical flow of light.
