A Florentine lantern in which every single rose is shaped by hand

Four paintings, four sides
Four glass panels are set into the frame, each one painted by hand: small scenes in gilded medallions of the kind found in Florentine painting. With the lights on, the pictures glow from within and cast a warm amber light into the room.

Roses made of iron
Vines with white roses and green leaves grow across the whole body. Every blossom is formed from iron by hand, painted and finished with gold accents. That is why no two lanterns are alike, and why from two metres away it reads as a bouquet rather than a metal frame.

Patinated green, not lacquered
The forged frame carries a deep, matte green patina. The tone absorbs the light instead of reflecting it, which lets the white of the blossoms and the gold of the frames stand out all the more clearly.

Where it belongs
Above the dining table, in a stairwell, in an entrance hall or a conservatory. At 40 x 40 cm in plan and 75 cm tall it fills a room without crowding it; four sockets of up to 40 watts each light a whole table.
