The exclusive Luxury Planter Caliza by Casa Padrino is made entirely of solid marble and finished with a satin polish, no cast stone, no coating. With Ø 46 cm, a height of 70 cm and a full 130 kg it is a solitaire that also works as a large floor vase and instantly gives any room weight and dignity.

The stone
Java Rosso is a marble with warm, reddish brown tones traversed by lighter veins and zones. Every planter is worked from its own block of stone, so no two are alike: colour and pattern vary from piece to piece, and every planter is unique.

Use
With a large houseplant the planter becomes the centrepiece of entrance hall, living room or conservatory, and as a floor vase it carries long branches and dried grasses. The plant is best placed in an inner pot, which keeps the stone protected on the inside. Even empty, the solid marble body already works as a sculpture.

Care and notes
A soft, dry cloth is all it takes for cleaning; abrasives and harsh cleaners have no place on the polished surface. Acids such as wine, juice or citrus can leave dull stains on natural stone. Always lift the planter with two people to move it, never push it across the floor, and make sure it stands on a level, load-bearing floor, as solid marble is heavy.
