The exclusive Luxury Side Table by Casa Padrino from the Slay series is a curved, sculptural table element made of fibre concrete in a brown slate look (Brown Slate). The soft curve makes the 85 cm long piece look different from every angle and turns it into far more than a simple shelf: It works as a side table just as well as a low display bench.

Material and workmanship
The table is made of fibre concrete (GRC), a glass fibre reinforced, weather-resistant material that is shaped and finished by hand. The surface shows a warm brown slate look and is deliberately kept lively and slightly irregular: Small differences in tone and texture are intentional and make every piece unique. At 20 kg the element stands firm and secure.

Placement and effect
At 40.5 cm in height the curved element slides in next to sofa, armchair or bed and carries lamp, books and glasses. Against the wall or freely in the room it becomes a low display bench for magazines, vases or a folded throw. The warm, stony brown tone suits light natural tones as well as dark wood and linen.

Care and notes
A soft, slightly damp cloth is all it takes for cleaning; avoid abrasives and harsh cleaners. The table is intended for indoor use, a sheltered outdoor spot is possible, but it should not be permanently exposed to frost and moisture. Make sure it stands on a level, load-bearing surface and lift the piece to move it instead of pushing it across the floor.
