The exclusive Luxury Vase by Casa Padrino is a large floor vase made of terracotta, designed after the model of old clay vessels. At 63 cm in height and a rich weight of around 22 kg it stands firm and confident in the room, a vessel with the aura of a long matured find.

Material and workmanship
Terracotta is fired natural clay with a warm, open-pored surface. The rustic, aged looking appearance is intentional: colour gradients, small irregularities and traces in the clay differ from vessel to vessel, and every piece is unique with its own markings.

Use
As a floor vase it works next to a chest of drawers, a fireplace or in a free corner, where its earthy presence comes into its own. Large dried branches, grasses or olive and eucalyptus twigs underline the Mediterranean character, though the vessel often makes its effect entirely without content. For fresh flowers with water a watertight inner vessel is recommended, as open-pored clay is not reliably waterproof.

Care and notes
A soft, dry cloth or a gentle brush is all it takes for cleaning; better to avoid water and cleaning agents, as the open-pored surface absorbs moisture. The vase is intended for indoor use. At around 22 kg, always carry it with two people or with a secure grip on the body of the vessel, never lift it by the rim.
